Is this normal
Bottling time on my first batch, and when I removed the lid, There were the normal bubbles from what I could tell but something else is there, and I don't know if it belongs or not. There are a couple of flat white patches floating on top, I tried to get some pictures but my phone quality is poor. There are white-ish in color with little white spots throughout. Is this normal or did I screw up somehow on the pre-cleaning.

First off, welcome to our forums. And by looking at the blurry pictures I can't tell if those white floating spots are anything unusual. I did however see that you larger bubbles sill on top. That would indicate that fermentation is still active.
How long has it been in the bucket? While you had the lid off did you get a hydrometer reading? That will help determine if it is time for bottling. I'd hate to see your first batch start exploding in their bottles.
If the final gravity was where your recipe said it should be then bottling is probably safe. Even if the white blob is some mold on top, I wouldn't dump it until you've tasted it. The beer not the white blob.
Let us know how it turns out.
