What are Mycoderma? (Flowers of Wine)
This is when grey islands appear on the surface. Before they
completely cover the surface (in which case it's too late, and you'll
have to throw it out) strain the wine through cotton mesh and add 2
campden tablets per gallon.

Mycoderma Vini. It's wild aerobic yeast, that makes wine turbid with unpleasant taste. Usually wines with low acidity and alcohol are infected, which are stored in bed conditions( high temperature, not filled vessels, tanks). The treatment is possible by pasterization, filtration and then blending with healthy wine.

Jack Keller has a good list of wine problems and the solutions. Good info to print out.
