my system is out on my patio, the weather is nice here most of the time, so brewing all year long is no problem. check my site for a glimpse of mine.

I mash and sparge in the kitchen and boil outside on the deck.
I either ferment in the back room or if it is summer time in the refrigerator in the shed with a temperature controller.

I usually brew in my garage with the main door cracked for ventilation. Unless it's really cold (which happens regularly around here.) Otherwise, I mash in my kitchen and boil in the garage.

I brew in my shop with 2 burners cranked on high, Music blasting, & homebrew flowin!!
& i have the woodstove cranked up.
I usually crack the front glass door & a side door a bit.
I havent dies yet!!
You can always get a cheap box fan & set it up in a window or something to blow air out or in.

I brew on the driveway and could brew almost everyday here in Sunny So. Calif. (sorrry for all you cold weather folks!)
Here's a pick of my BrewTree as seen from the back:
I lost my hard drive with all the other pics so Ill have to wait till I get it back out of the back of the garage to post another couple of phots.
It's a 3 tier system with 3 converted 15.5 kegs, the mash tun is the black thingy and it swivel's to dump the grain. The mash and HLT have dual thermometers in case I want to make just a 5 gallon batch, but I usually do a double batch of 20 gallons when I brew. The bottom keg is the boil kettle and there's a March pump to move the wort around and there's 2 counterflow wort chillers in the blue hoses under the mash tun to fill 2 carboys at a time. It also has a hydrometer well built in to take readings, but now that I have a refractometer, I dont bother with it anymore. The yellow hose is the CIP (clean in place) hose and there's also a built in Carbon Filter with one point connection for the water. The propane is also one hookup for the HLT and boil kettle with needle valves for precise temp control. The burners are 200K and get H2O up to temp really quickly.
I painted it Red, White and Blue to make it look better than the normal black, and painted Red anything HOT and Yellow anything that could be hazardous to my head while bending over next to it.
BTW,
(The white GMC in the background is my 1993 Typhoon, one of the fastest production vehicles made by GM. 0-60 in 5.4 sec. 4.3 turbo intercooled V6 with limited slip 35/65 full time 4 wheel drive.)

Lets see more pics of that thing!! Very cool indeed.
Just tell your wife to get more life insurance & let you brew in the garage all u want!!
I am going to build a collector around the bottem of my hlt & kettle to collect & vent the fumes out through a pipe. Maybe put a small fan to suck the fumes & blow them outside.

Man, that's a cool setup. I still brew in one of two places, either in my kitchen or in my buddies driveway. Both are cool, but the driveway is really pleasant since we use a turkey fryer (we're still just extract brewers). It's nice doing it outside too because we smoke pipes (just tobacco pipes) and just enjoy the evening. Very good times.

Work in the kitchen and ferment in a closet, no light, good amount of space, and perfect temp for ales even in the summer.

I heat water/mash in the kitchen...do the boil outside on the patio. I'm also one of those crazy fools who brews in subfreezing days, and snow.
